They are two of the most important and influential composers of the 20th century popular music. Between the 1950βs and 1980βs their collaboration earned them 6 Grammyβs and 3 Academy Awards.
Producing 73 Top 40 US hits and 52 Top 40 UK hits. Their songs have been recorded by over 1000 artists including Dionne Warwick, Cilla Black, Dusty Springfield, Tom Jones, BJ Thomas, The Carpenters and Christopher Cross just to mention a few.
Internationally acclaimed vocalist Janet Ross-Fahy whose exceptional range coupled with her flawless technique enables her to cover all styles of music. Janet has worked with many of the world best-known recording artists and with many decades of television experience and live performances covering jazz, pop, soul, cabaret and theatre and is certainly an artist of international standard throughout Australia and overseas. Her voice is unmistakably her own with influences of her idols but still maintaining her own unique and distinctive sound along with her four-and-a-half octave vocal range.
Janet is accompanied by her wonderful 11 piece band containing many of Australia's top musicians such as David Hicks, Craig Newman, Tim Willis and Nick Johnson to name a few. All arrangements are by musical director Jordan Murray who is considered Australia's premier trombone player and arranger.
